Brad Pitt is expanding his resume to include a women’s scent. It was announced Wednesday, that Pitt, 48, will be in the ad campaign for its signature women’s scent.
Reports indicate that Pitt will be in London to film the commercial within the next week, and say the newly-engaged actor will be paid seven figures to star in the campaign.
Pitt joins the likes of Nicole Kidman and Audrey Tatou who have previously starred in Chanel No. 5 ads and is the first male celebrity to do so. The late actress Marilyn Monroe also claimed to love the fragrance.
Chanel’s founding designer, the late Coco Chanel, also modeled in the Chanel No. 5 ads in 1937 for what is now the company’s oldest fragrance. It remains one of the world’s top-selling perfumes.
